Our projects
Study, design and management of international game breeding projects
Andorra — Feathered game breeding
GIBIS assisted the Principality of Andorra in creating a game bird farm adapted to the mountain conditions of the Pyrenees. Our involvement covered the entire project: feasibility study, facility design (high-altitude aviaries, breeding centre), selection of bloodlines adapted to the Pyrenean climate, training of local staff and technical monitoring during the first years of operation. This project enabled Andorra to have its own game bird supply for hunting and restocking its mountain territories.
Feasibility study
Analysis of climatic, topographic and regulatory conditions to define suitable species and farming methods.
Facility design
Technical plans and specifications for aviaries, breeding centre and farm buildings.
Staff training
Know-how transfer to local teams: farming techniques, health management, nutrition.
Technical monitoring
Support over several seasons to optimise farming performance and resolve difficulties encountered.
Middle East — Custom breeding facilities
GIBIS has carried out several game breeding projects in the Middle East, responding to the traditions of falconry and partridge hunting deeply embedded in the culture of the region. Our achievements include the design and construction of air-conditioned breeding facilities adapted to extreme desert temperatures, as well as the selection of bloodlines capable of acclimatising to local conditions. These projects were conducted in close collaboration with local authorities and falconry experts.
Air-conditioned facilities
Aviaries and farm buildings equipped with cooling and misting systems for arid climates.
Adapted bloodlines
Selection and supply of partridge and pheasant bloodlines resistant to high temperatures.
Falconry tradition
Production of game for falcon training, in keeping with local hunting traditions.
Turnkey
Turnkey projects: design, construction, equipment, training and start-up support.
Hungary — Wild hare capture operations
GIBIS has been present in Hungary for many years, organising and supervising wild hare capture campaigns for the French and European markets. Our on-site team coordinates the beating operations, supervises the quarantine facilities and manages the export logistics in compliance with Hungarian and European health regulations.
Local presence
GIBIS team present in Hungary throughout the capture season, November to March.
Capture coordination
Logistical organisation of capture drives in partnership with Hungarian hunting federations.
Quarantine management
Supervision of quarantine facilities and health protocols in compliance with European regulations.
Export logistics
Full export management: health documents, refrigerated transport, customs clearance.
