The estate
Located in the village of Chatte, in the heart of Isère, our farm spans 70 hectares of agricultural and wooded land. This exceptional natural setting provides our animals with an ideal environment close to their wild living conditions. The estate is crossed by natural streams and bordered by country hedgerows that promote biodiversity.

The aviaries
Our 15 hectares of aviaries are the heart of our breeding activity. Each aviary is designed to reproduce natural conditions as closely as possible: dense plant cover, shade and light zones, shelter from the elements. This approach produces birds with wild behaviour, capable of flying and acting naturally from the moment of release.

Natural vegetation
Each aviary is planted with cover crops (sorghum, maize, sunflower) recreating the natural habitat.
Controlled density
The number of birds per aviary is strictly controlled to guarantee welfare and quality.
Grain production
GIBIS produces a large share of the grain used to feed its animals directly on the farm. This control over the food chain allows us to guarantee healthy, GMO-free feed tailored to the specific needs of each species at every stage of development.
On-site crops
Wheat, maize, sorghum and sunflower grown on our own land.
Controlled nutrition
Formulations adapted by species, age and season, GMO-free and no growth antibiotics.
Full traceability
From seed to game bird, every production step is documented and traceable.
Breeding centre
Our breeding centre is equipped with state-of-the-art incubators and hatchers. Eggs are collected daily from the breeding pens and undergo rigorous grading before incubation. Hatch rates and chick vitality are continuously monitored, ensuring the genetic quality of our bloodlines.

Quality control
Quality is at the heart of our approach. Every batch of animals intended for sale is inspected by our team and issued a veterinary health certificate by an approved vet. Our facilities are regularly inspected by the departmental veterinary services and we comply with all applicable regulations.

Transport fleet
GIBIS operates its own fleet of trucks and vans specially equipped for live game transport. This logistics independence allows us to ensure fast deliveries under the best animal welfare conditions.
