GIBIS supplies European hares (Lepus europaeus) caught in the wild in France. These animals come from areas with high densities where culls are authorised by the relevant authorities. Each hare undergoes rigorous health screening before sale.

GIBIS organises annual wild hare capture campaigns in the great Hungarian plains, one of the hare-richest areas in Europe. These operations, conducted in collaboration with local hunting authorities, supply high genetic-quality hares for restocking French territories.
